VTM-YB Series | VTM-1200YB

The VTM-1200YB 5-axis combination lathe/machining center executes turning, vertical, horizontal and angled surface machining without repositioning the part in the chuck. Cutting efficiency with straight end mills is increased with operator control of spindle direction in relation to the surface of the work-piece, in comparison to point cutting with ball end mills.

Large diameter roller bearings support the work spindle at two locations, offering increased accuracy during production. The spindle's geared head produces high torque which allows for more heavy-duty cutting.

The VTM-1200YB turning center is ideal for even the most demanding components in aerospace, energy and other industries, complete with Okuma’s OSP suite control system and precise 5-axis machining technology (including Thermo-Friendly Concept to ensure thermal stability).
